I had Japan lined up for a NWW post but I've been too busy to get it together. Nice one Tee. I've always had a soft spot for Sylvian ... was just listening to the 'Exercising Ghosts' comp. last week. Cheers!

A fascinating band, much more going on than Duran Duran. Barbieri's latest solo effort is excellent, no vocals. Jenson's, called Slope has some vocals by David and maybe Charlie Haden's daughter, Petra. David's solo efforts range from pure ambient to not very interesting, but devout. (He is a follower of an Indian guru.) I think they were ahead of their time, would recommend Rain Tree Crow and Gone to Earth if you want to listen further. Haven't seen anything recently from the bass player, Mick Karn but he does studio work and has a lot of technique.
