Delroy in fact recorded no fewer than three separate covers of "Get Ready" - this is the first of them, cut at Studio One in in 1966/67, when he was still a teenager, backed by the Soul Vendors. The piano solo is a little way short of vituoso standard, but it's still a fine slab of rocksteady
Finally, in 1978, he went to Channel One Studios, a year or so after Gregory had cut his version there, and recorded the tune again - this is the full 12" mix, originally released on the Hitbound label
