it is going to be tough for alicia to follow melanie fiona on this upcoming tour. . those that know me know I don't usually post about the pop stuff BUT melanie now, that girl can really REALLY sing. the album is very girl group poppy - too much for my taste but I am psyched to hear her vocal chops and I am impressed. looking forward to catching her live and seeing how she evolves . . . sounds like she can sing whatever she wants to sing

You're right about her voice. I heard her song "Give It to Me Right" on the radio (which made good use of the Zombies' accompaniment of their old hit "Time of the Season"), and marvelled at her pipes. Should be a good show.
