today is a peaceful day in NYC beautiful sun after a few days of rain . . . this track is what it will feel like to me on Monday morning :) this from the Impulse! label remixed project Impulsive!

    MilesTrane says Sa-Ra did the Go remix, I don't know much about them except at the time they were an LA based production team ....Jon Hendricks on the vocals from the original big band track ( but i bet Ivy knew that), . the original is from an amazing 1950's jazz album by Geirge Russell that features a stellar lineup including Coltrane, Bill Evans, many more

    MilesTrane says thought i was hallucinating but just dbl checked and this upload sounds slower and lower in pitch than the original- not by a ton but more than noticeable. . . must be the way i ripped/encoded these . . . same with ella track below

    MilesTrane says ok the first version was sampled at a higher rate when ripped - i found another on my hard drive ripped at 44.1. This should be playing at real pitch and tempo.
