Yes, I’m still quietly seething about missing, nay, not even knowing about the Amy Winehouse/Klaxons live two-fer at San Fran’s intimate nightclub 330 Ritch last week. First, I read a post by 1234chainsaw about his misadventures with concert cancellations (http://mog.com/1234chainsaw/blog_post/68990), and – make no mistake – I felt his pain. Then, our pal Rawkiddo checked in with his tale of a much coveted show that was postponed (http://mog.com/Rawkkiddo/blog_post/69104).Down in Rawk’s thread, QueenofHell had her own wail of concert-going woe: “Amy Winehouse postponed her London gigs last month and rescheduled for this month. I was sooooooo excited…I had got all dolled up, and was looking forward to a great night. It transpires she ‘knocked her front teeth out’ and had been booked for Letterman a few days later. I wonder what happened there.”Amy, Amy, Amy…again. Waitaminnit. Amy knocked her front teeth out, and one of MOG’s reliable London correspondents can’t give us the who/what/where/when/why? Is there not a single MOGger out there with the real story? (Or one that's made up, like that “Writer’s Embellishment” shtick that Letterman does with audience members’ anecdotes?)I beseech you all. What’s the deal? Did Our Little Amy have a few too many, and faw-down-go-boom? Smacked in the mouth by a jealous rival or a drug-crazed lover? (Anyone know the whereabouts of Lily Allen on the night of the incident?) Car accident? Perhaps she was struck by that Amy Winehouse Backlash I’ve been hearing about lately. What happened? What? Inquiring minds want to know, because we live in a celebrity-obsessed, gossip-smeared world - and because I feel like irresponsibly starting unfounded rumors…
