Happy Halloween to the entire MOGiverse from the Knife - and those bone-chilling Ramones!
Now, Joey and the gang insist that you go down to the basement (touch the ominous red button above, if you dare) - or hie thee to a pet cemetery (watch the creepy video clip below, and shiver in fear)!

Happy Halloween bud, great post!
Boo!
Nice costume there, Mike! Is that from this year or a previous year?
and a happy boo to you as well Mike
Wow, the long lost Ramone brother. Wondered where he was! I thought that was an urban legend.
but i like basements! happy halloween back atcha, Mike.
Mike, Mike! Look out for the bear behind you!
Have a good one!
Mikey Ramone > Ramones!
Hope you had some good bloody fun!
RGM: Appreciated! And any day is a good day for the Ramones!
dharmachris: Ahhhh! You scared me! (Delayed reaction...)
Dale: It fits, doesn't it? It's actually from a pre-Halloween ball last weekend. I did "repurpose" the costume last night - and even got a shot taken with an "Amy Winehouse." But I never got photographed with the "Debbie Harry" in her Punk Magazine t-shirt. Now, that would have been something!
Rawk: Yeah! Hope you received more treats than tricks, Kevin.
August: The truth is out!
poe: O.K. Just stay away from the water heater. It may blow...
Neill: Whew! I just avoided a mauling. Thanks, man.
Anna: I did indeed! Two parties - one in a renowned nightclub, the other at a multi-level venue adjacent to a legendary, now-defunct concert hall. More deets upon request. (I will say that there was burlesque, including the astonishing Odessa Lil as the Bashful Weregirl. Owww-ooooo!)
Happy Boo to you too... just got this "notification" two days late, and a dollar short...
Van
And I'm responding even later. No matter, Van. The thrills and chills are neverending!
You party monstah! Requesting more details!
Hmmm. Of course, there were elaborate costumes. Mermaids; a Joker with two Harley Quinns in latex; sexy pink piggy girls; a scantily-clad organ grinder and her devoted monkey; fairies; pirates; superheroes; witches; vampire brides; statues; marionettes; airline hostesses; Revolutionary War soldiers; devils; phantoms; flowers; Medieval knights, etc. In other words, a typical San Francisco crowd. A couple of less complicated ensembles were ideally suited to a snapshot with Mikey Ramone: A delightfully inebriated Amy Winehouse and a Debbie Harry in a Punk magazine t-shirt. I particularly liked a waitress dressed as Sarah Palin - a job Palin is qualified to do, as opposed to the one she's been going after. The seductive goth-y chamber rock ensemble Rosin Coven played the late-night party, sandwiched between racy performances by the Hubba Hubba Revue. DJs on all floors. Mini-candy bars all over the place. Zombies - to drink and the brain-eating kind. And so on. (I have photos, but they are, as you might suspect, classified...)
I LOVE that crowd! Darn, I wanted to dress up as Amy Winehouse in the Greek carnival last year, but I didn't have the chance to get around to it.
"a job Palin is qualified to do" ahhahaha and now she'll have to, anyway ;)
Thanks for the description. Sounds like it was a mystifyingly insane night! All the incriminating ones are classified :)
Anna: To quote a now-notorious scary monster and super-creep, "You betcha!" (Our Anna as Amy W.? I'd give up all the contents of my trick-or-treat bag to see that. But it's funny how things have changed in a year's time. Last Halloween, girls dressed as Amy were sexy in a scuzzy way. This Halloween, I couldn't help but think of that costume as "soul-singer-of-the-living-dead." Talk about horror...)
