The tile of Devendra Banhart upcoming album will be Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon, according to the artist's publicist.
Revitalizing the spirit of the '60s.The album, co-produced by Banhart and his longtime collaborator Noah Georgeson, will be out on XL on Sept. 25.Players on the album include Georgeson (who recently released his solo debut Find Shelter) Luckey Remington, Pete Newsom (Joanna's brother and Noah's touring percussionist), Rodrigo Amarante (from Los Hermanos), GregRogove, Matteah Baim (ex of Metallic Falcons - releasing her solo debut on DiCrisinta Stairbuilders this Spring), Otto Hauser (ESPERS), Andy Cabic of Vetiver and Devendra's touring band.
