Blue Cheer Tour; Minus Original Guitarist
-
Artist:
A version of the proto-metal rock trio, Blue Cheer, whose debut album, 1968’s Vincebus Eruptum, included a recording of Eddie Cochran’s “Summertime Blues,” (which The Who would cover on Live At Leeds), will hit the road in early April. There’s just one problem, the touring group will not include original guitarist Leigh Stephens. The current group will include original singer/bassist Dickie Peterson and drummer Paul Whaley, with Andrew “Duck” MacDonald filling in for Stephens. Too bad.
