Boston Singer Suicide Note: 'I Am A Lonely Soul'

Posted almost 5 years ago
Boston singer Brad Delp, who died in the early hours of Friday, March 9, said in a note found pinned to his body: "J'ai une ame solitaire. I am a lonely soul." Delp had sealed himself inside the bathroom of his Atkinson, New Hampshire home with two charcoal grills; he committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning, according to toxicology tests. "I take complete and sole responsibility for my present situation," Delp wrote in another note found in the house. "I have lost my desire to live." He added that his fiancee, Pamela Sullivan, was unaware of his plans. "Unfortunately she is totally unaware of what I have done."A private funeral was held early this past week; Delp's body was cremated on Wednesday. For more info: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/entertainment/4636662.html
