Hella, the Sacramento-based psycho-jazz-rock guitar/drums duo, will have a new recording out this fall on Kill Rock Stars' adventurous sister (or is it brother?) label, 5RC. Acoustics, described as a "stripped down" collection of previously released songs, will be released on September 12.

The guys - Zach Hill and Spencer Seim - are on a West Coast tour, playing at Echo in L.A. tonight followed by shows in San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland and other West Coast hot spots.
