The esteemed singer/songwriter Vic Chesnutt, a favorite of many, many artists, from R.E.M. to Madonna, Bill Frisell and Elf Power, will have his latest album, At the Cut, out Sept. 22 on Constellation records. This is the second album in which members of Fugazi and Godspeed You! Black Emperor have backed him. He'll begin a tour, backed by the same artists who play on the album, Oct. 23.
