New Video from Cracker that manages to summon up the countercultural madness of the title, "Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out with Me." David Lowery has been one of our best contemporary songwriters since we first heard him fronting Camper Van Beethoven, and these days, no matter what outfit he's writing for, he continues to deliver smart songs. And then he's got the voice to sing them. Doesn't hurt that Johnny Hickman's guitar work provides perfect acents for this uptempto Cracker-style rocker. The album, Sunrise in the Land of Milk and Honey, is out May 5 on 429 Records.
