I've been digging this track, "Fidelity Shake," for months now. It's off Speck Mountain's most recent album, Some Sweet Relief. I guess you could call this dreamy shoe-gazer rock, but it's way cooler than that. Very trippy.

The new album from Magnolia Electric Co. (Jason Molina's band) is titled Josephine and is due out July 21. The album was engineered by Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago. I've really dug Molina's many previous recordings, some of which were released under his own name and some under the Songs: Ohia name. Not sure yet about this one.
