Hello dear moggers.
Sometimes I tell myself. WAIT!!! Wait until it's done. Wait until the time is right...............but dear friends. I ask you this..............what's the point of demos if they're just sitting there?
Months ago I read a post including a Cure video. I think my fellow mogger wrote "I can't tell you how many times I've added this song to a mixtape".
That kinda got me started on what ended up being a song I call "Girls Who Make Mixtapes". Again..........this is a demo and I am planning to do another version..........but I just need to let go of it for a while.

This really reminds me of early The Flaming Lips, especially your vocal:
Liking your song alot, keep up the good work.

Yo dude! Top effort. Not my kind of style but to hell with that..... :)
My Trusted MOGs
Thank you all for writing such nice words. You are nice people..........and I like nice people.
Boy Flood: Since you wrote "not my kind of style" I visited your page and listened to a track. "The Same Deep Blue"...........I really liked that so I want to hear more.
Annie: It's easy being fearless hiding behind a computer.
Neil: I'll see you in the movies!!!! I'll write you an email later when I've listened to the new songs.
Pete: Thanks!!
Michelle: I can't stop....but I'll never post bad things on your posts.....not anymore.
Chucky: Thanks again. I still haven't decided about your view on classic rock. Have to think some more.
Blair: Well........you're in LA. Set it up!!! We all need to meet up for beers!
August: I really like the Flaming Lips song. Haven't heard it before.

Yeah, my electronic tendencies tend to get in the way. Sometimes acoustic stuff can creep by me but fussy ain't the word! Ask Marigold about how fussy I am about stuff. He was firing shoegaze stuff at me and despite being into shoegaze big style, I latched onto very little. I enjoyed your track technically and totally got what you were doing, I just find it hard to connect to stuff like that 90% of the time. Do you venture into electronic lands much?
My Trusted MOGs
I listen to electronic music but I don't keep up. I've recently fallen madly in love with The Books. Their Lemon of Pink album is on my top ten list. Board of Canada, Four Tet, Múm and Cassettes Won't Listen are definitely favorites of mine.
I'll probably do some electronic productions but I'll find someone who'll be doing the programming. I sometimes work in Reasons but I am terrible at programming drums etc.
My Trusted MOGs
Yeah programming drums is a bit of a nightmare for me as well. I prefer to chop up drum loops and create that way. Reason is cool. I bought it ages ago but then bumped into Ableton Live and it's kind of gathered dust since then. Although with the re-wire option I could integrate both of them. Maybe I should dig it out again ;)
My Trusted MOGs
You need to tell me all about Ableton Live. The program came with the Protools I bought. MOG-mail me some tricks if you get the time.
My Trusted MOGs
Way to go, Henry. Very courageous.
My Trusted MOGs
Glad you like the Lips song. You should hear the rest of the album. You're on Multiply right? I'll post it there for you if you'd like. Let me know.
