My good friend and fellow mogger Kristiana sent me a nice package. I remember her telling me that she was making a mixtape but I didn't expect this great treat. Included was a great mix-cd with canadian music.........although she included a couple who Kristiana is referring to as honorary canadians (Mark Kozelek and Paul Westerberg among others). Some prime-cuts on this CD.Next up.........a cassette. It has been years since I've held a cassette. It contained old songs by a band she used to be in + other goodies. I am not done with this tape yet.....but it's loud and made with love. Last but definitely not least. A nice kitchen toy for making pancakes. I don't know what this thing is called but it turns my pancakes into maple-leaves. A perfect excuse for eating lots of pancakes.........which I did saturday morning.Good friends are found on MOG. Thanks Kristiana!!!Was this song on the mix-cd? Of course!!!

moovyphreak says I have heard of Broken Social Scene before, but never of Emily Haines. I enjoyed the music in the video and read at Wikipedia that this newer group of hers has a new album hitting U.S. and UK stores in late July, so I will definitely look into picking it up.

Me and the Horse I Rode In On says What do you mean by fresh? I cannot compare the two CDs. Both really good. I still listen to the one you sent me and wonder when the next one will hit my mail-box.

Me and the Horse I Rode In On says Funny thing is..........is you really wanna know...........between each song Kevin whispered "I am Kevin aka Rawkkiddo aka master of the bedroom". Really weird but I've gotten used to it.
