Story goes.........and stop me if you've heard this one before. Back in the mid-70's canadian music teacher Hans Fenger gathered his schoolkids and recorded two LP's containing covers of what today are considered some of the most classic rock/pop songs around. As far as I know the LP's were only made for the kids and their families. Instead of doing the good old a-z of children songs Hans Fenger taught the kids these great rock-songs...... often containing some heavy lyrics.Hearing these children sing songs by Brian Wilson, David Bowie, Lennon/McCartney, Neil Diamong, Phil Spector and so on.......is truly amazing.I could go on........but instead I'll post this song and tell you to go here: http://www.keyofz.com/keyofz/langley/ if you want to read more about the Langley Schools Music Project. This is Bowie's Space Oddity. Not only is it good but it's also really funny to hear these kids go for it.
