Yesterday I bought the Lemon of Pink album by The Books. Today I took it with me on my daily bike-ride going downtown. I was blown away. This is like nothing I've heard before. I am amazed by the amount of work these guys must have put into this. Eveything is so perfect and the sound is as warm as today's weather. I hear so much joy and love of life in these songs. I am extremely happy right now. Almost high. I made it to my destination before the album ended but I had to walk around listening to the very end. I could not put it down. This could end up being my favorite album this year.I hope every single mogger sees this. Perfect album for the season and it really is like reading a good book. It saves me from the world, draws beautiful pictures only I can see and make me want to pick it up again and again and again.If the last piece on the album does not make you smile and giggle......then there is something wrong with you.
