Seattle hip hop is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted over 2 years ago
Thanks to kexp I have been introduced to amazing hip hop from the northwest. I am a sucker for kexp and I am addicted to their blog, their podcasts and their newsletters. I like my dose of hip hop......but the more old-school it sounds the better. I have never accepted the fact that there is life after "Low End Theory" by A Tribe Called Quest. Not quite true but it sometimes feel this way.The Saturday Knights is all I can ask for. If you only had one chance to turn up the volume.......let it be now!!!The Saturday Knights

    2. amber says I actually saw Saturday Knights in December 2005 at the Deck the Hall Ball in Seattle and they were fabulous. I don't usually follow hip/hop but I thoroughly enjoyed them. They were a fantastic opening act for Aqueduct, Harvey Danger, and Death Cab

    3. armuller says Yes, that is a great track and there is some great hip-hop coming out of the Northwest. Did you look at my post regarding Gabriel Teodros, another great hip-hop artist from Seattle? He is heavily played on KEXP as well.
