Saw The Horrors in Brighton recently - at the risk of giving away my age I was reminded of The Jesus & Mary Chain some 20 years previously. The hair, the black clothes, the dry ice, the feedback, the fuzzy guitars, the strobes and the 30 minute set - ring any bells?I'd expected them to sound more like that other 80s UK cult, The Meteors. ie a punkier Cramps. This is what their CDs sound like.
