This is from what may have been the first album I ever bought. Seeing them perform Ladytron back in the early seventies was probably a defining moment for me. But more than 30 years on, this fragment from If There is Something still blows me away.

You know what? Turns out I've been mishearing the words to this all these years. Looked them up, and they are much more mundane that I thought they were. What I hear, and will continue to hear because I prefer it, is I would do anything for you I would get out of bed I would swim all the oceans blue I would walk a thousand miles Breathing my secrets More than enough for me to share I would put roses round our door Sit in the garden Growing potatoes by the score (If it hadn't been for the re-master I would never have know. Only a couple of words different, but makes a world of difference)
