I've been wanting to post O Caroline from the first Matching Mole album (1971) but haven't been able to get it from vinyl to digital. However, have tracked it down on YouTube. Someone's even made a video to go with it (which may be a distraction).I commend it to you.

You're right, the animation is distracting. The best way to turn it off is to just close your eyes and listen to the song. very nice. Thanks Max. Ex-Soft Machine, I'll have to dig deeper.

Just wanted to go on record and thank you for flying the Robert Wyattt flag. He has a pass key to my psyche he fashioned himself, unlocking a door I'd never have guessed was there otherwise. His power has something to do with the deceptive simplicity of his materials.

I only have vinyl, which is why I had to post the dodgy video. I see from Amazon that there are a couple of other albums I hadn't come across. (Little Red Record should probably be your last stop.) The covers on the the other ones are cuter too.
