Can I Get a 'T'?

Posted over 3 years ago
hello friends.i wrote an entry yesterday, read it this morning, and decided i did not like it. i'll start fresh...right now.so, im new to this, and for those of you who dont know me, my name is Matthew Eugene. i like this site, a lot, the more i think about it, and im excited to tell you, whoever shall look at this, about the music im currently listening to.i'd like to today talk about a band that won my heart over the very first instance i saw them, Tally Hall. they came here to Pittsburgh with OkGo a while back, and the moment they came on stage, my friends and i knew we were in for a treat.the music was like nothing i had heard before. everywhere from redunkulous, to mellow heart-felt songs. i loved it. and to top it off, they were great guys. they bring back a pokemon card my friends and i gave them every time they play in pittsburgh (which has been three, each ive seen, the last one the best in my opinion).they truly are a breath of fresh air, and i'm glad they're beginning to get the attention they deserve.my entry today, however, is not about the music, or the album, its about the song and video for 'Good Day', their new single.it was directed by member Joe Hawley (red tie) and is possibly one of the best things ive ever laid eyes on. its hundreds of one second clips inside a television screen (for the most part), and its hilarious and astonishing. this band just oozes of talent in everything they do, not just music. i hope they keep true to that fact (which im sure they will). check out their website (tallyhall dot com) and just watch some of the videos and read some of the journal entries, and if you can tell me you honestly didnt enjoy one of them, i'll give you money (honestly, now). while i wrote that, i debated on saying more about the video. but i wont. i dont want to ruin it for anyone that hasnt seen it.i'll write more here soon.xoxomatthew eugene
