WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

I'm from Nebraska, and headed towards New Orleans.

Posted over 3 years ago
(or at least that is what my license plate says)Picked up my 2006 Chevy Malibu this afternoon, 'braska plates & all. Heading westward on the 10--the same one that gets you to Pomona or Santa Monica, and making my way to New Orleans. Although I have my own personal opinions about what is going on along the Gulf Coast, I have commited myself to be unbiased. I will be arriving in New Orleans tomorrow night, staying on Bourbon Street & waking up before dawn to start what may be the most significant day in my photographic life yet. My Saturday will begin before dawn, awaiting the sunrise from the east over the Lower 9th ward. From that, I do not know where I will go, but my best guess is that the Mississippi will guide my way.I will be carrying lots of B&W film (per usual) and a Digital Voice Recorder. Scared, somewhat I am. Excited, very much so. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend...and if you could, keep me in your thoughts as i'm feeling that I am putting myself in front of a certain danger.Get ready for some amazing mills photography...<3mmm

  2. Viva La Britt says If you would like photos of some formerly majestic homes that are still in serious disrepair, head to Lakeview (near the University of New Orleans). That area has been so underdiscussed and will give insight to how the upper-middle class has been and remains devastated. Please be safe, sir, and share with the class upon your return.
