WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

MediaMaster offers a service where you upload your music to their servers, allowing you to access them from any Internet-connected machine. Idea being you can listen to your fave songs when you're on the computer in the public library, I guess. Anyway, you can also create a radio station from the music you've uploaded, which is no big deal, lots of places allow that, but as of now anyway, MediaMaster is free.So I made a radio station. It's not very good, IMO ... I created it for a group of old high school friends who haven't listened to new music since before Bob Seger hit it big. Every song but one is from 1970, the outlier being "Room to Move" from 1969 because one of them was asking about that one. The software doesn't seem perfect ... I can't turn off shuffle play, far as I can tell, so I can't really create a good playlist for the radio station, and the shuffle mode doesn't seem to keep track of what's already been played (I've heard "Immigrant Song" twice already but still haven't heard "Nobody Loves Me But My Mother" ... oops, there it is!).Oh well ... here's the link ... MediaMaster streams a pls file, so it works on Winamp, iTunes can handle it, WMP and RealPlayer need plugins:1970

  2. RichS says I just discovered this site today. Awesome! I love their player. Uploading is really easy and hasslefree, which I was concerned about.
