Rhapsody has finally started working for me again (long story, excellent idea for a service, not always well-implemented), so I can start playing with the new MOG. I have nothing but first impressions, but they are very good. I am already a Rhapsody subscriber, so my experience will differ from those who are just encountering Rhapsody. So far, this tag team seems to deliver as promised. The MOG side of the pairing works just fine ... I went to my Recommendations page, created a playlist from some of the songs there, and I'm listening to them as I type this. The Rhapsody side needs work, but then, that's how it is with Rhapsody. I have fairly specific needs, and MOG has now added to the usefulness I can get from both MOG and Rhapsody. I have to finagle with Rhapsody a bit to make it do everything I want, mostly having to do with making the Rhapsody Online player that pops up from MOG act nice with the Rhapsody client Jukebox on my computer. But that isn't MOG's problem.Meanwhile, I have a new way to enjoy new music. The next test will be to try and create a playlist for tomorrow's Random Ten ... I think I can do it.
