I saw Jesca Hoop open for Mark Kozelek a while back and have been trying to see her solo shows since then. I finally get that chance on Nov. 30th. Woo! I hope she plays Havoc in Heaven, that's me favorite.

Aside from his beautiful voice, I love that he yells at people and calls them assholes (can I say that?) in the middle of his performance. I've seen him twice at The Troubadour in LA... anybody else get to witness this?

Tour de Fat anyone?

I was lucky enough to see them perform at The Tour de Fat Festival in Flagstaff, AZ. It was great. They had lots of little props and gadgets and were happy to let anyone onstage to dance along with them. Very cute. The festival was awesome in itself. Beer, Bicycles, and Green Party Hippies... what more could you ask for?
