Here is a fun song from the TV on The Radio ep, Young Liars. It is called Satellite. I never paid much attention to this ep much until just recently. This is one of those "IPOD on random - what the heck was that?" songs. This is a fun ep worth owning. It is grounded with one of the more easy to latch onto songs from "Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes" called "Staring at the Sun." Another song that is full of layers of sound is the the title track, "Young Liars". They also throw in a hidden track, "Mr Grieves" by the Pixies to keep things really interesting.

Yeah it is always fun to find a hidden easter egg on a cd. Although this is not my favorite cover song, it is certianlly an interesting choice for TVOTR. Glad you liked the song.

Easter eggs on cd's or dvd's mae my day. One of my favorites is all the swear words in the movie Snatch compiled into a 2 minute skit on the collectors edition of the movie.

Yep, I got to agree easter eggs rule. From software to household appliances to Audio CD's I feel it's a find of a finishing touch most often in a humerous form. Did you guys know there is a number of websites that collect easter egg info to help us track them down? My first ever easter egg by the way was in some anti-virus software for my old Atari ST520FM. I noticed this one odd pixel on the screen and clicked on it. Some audio and text madness followed of course lol!! .....hmmmm my geek/nerd DNA seems to be getting the better of me lately :)

Ha! Nice easter eggs Rawkkiddo and Boy Flood. One that always sticks with me is the "Somethings in the Way" song that was a hidden track on the Nirvana - Nevermind cd. I do not even know if that is the name of the song, but if you heard it you know what I am talking about. I will never forget those days in the early 90's getting all crunked up on acid and always having to cue up that song up and listening to it. "somethings in the way... yeah".... For whatever reason, that song was an anthem for my friends and I in those tripped out days.

Girlcrawl, I assume you own Return to Cookie Mountain and if you enjoy it. Do yourself a favor and get Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes.

Yeah, I remember that Nirvana track Marigold! and you just reminded me of a track by the Pale Saints. Had to lift the needle off a never ending loop to get it to play the 'hidden' track. Turned out to be a small horror story, it was quite freaky actually.

Rawkkiddo dude, glad to see another easter egg fan, what's more an Atari fan to boot! That screen looks more like it's from the Atari 2600 games console........

I love Mog, how many other music sites would have a tangent like easter eggs in games?
