Today, my wife and I decided to pop into the cd store and see what we could find. By golly I hit the motherload! I found this:
I could not believe it. 11 singles for $.95 cents each! Almost 40 songs for about $11 bucks. This is almost the entire Verve cd single collection minus 2 or 3 discs. A lot of the songs I have heard, but it is fun to hear the ones I never have, alternates, acoustic and live versions etc. When I got back home I ripped them to my HD and I am going to make one hell of a Verve mix tape for work tomorrow. A Northern Soul by The Verve is one of my all time favorite records. Since it is, here is a You Tube vid.
