2:31 (track length)I have been expecting some serious mailbox activity over the last few weeks. I am still reaping the benefits of Christmas gifts and the yearly bonus from work. Several special order items from different record labels should be arriving any day. However, most importantly, I am also on the lookout for something from a special mogtiplier from Portugal. Today was my lucky day! When I got home from work I moved quickly to the mailbox with no delay. I verbally said the words, “records and t-shirts†as I opened the door. Much to my delight, a large flat cardboard box and medium sized padded manila envelope fell to my feet as I opened the door. YES!! The Postman had cometh! The Padded Envelope: Torche – In Return EPI have been following Torche since I saw them open for Mogwai on the Mr. Beast tour. I was at the show Han Solo and had no idea of what I was to expect with the opening band. This band completely rocked. I had no idea a band this heavy would open for Mogwai. I guess it kind of makes sense now, but at the time I was shocked to have my head blown off in such a fashion. I was impressed enough to stay informed of any new offerings they would bring. Late last year they released In Return. I purchased their new ep on a sweet ass slab of colored vinyl. (clear with black planets) Trust me, they know how to bring the guitars of mass destruction. (GoMD) Check out the comments for a more space rock track in the vein of JESU and ISIS.

The Postal Service notice of re-delivery card -The (kinda)Great news!..I am not sure but it appears I very well got something from Portugal. Apparently the post office has been trying to deliver a package that was sent registered mail and needs to be signed for. The notice said the package would be available after 6:30am tomorrow. I will try to stop by the post office on the way into work tomorrow to see if I can pick up the “large envelope†they say they have for me. :::crosses fingers:::Just Plain Cool:Last night I went to a new beer release for a local brewery. At the event they were going to announce the winner of the first annual photo contest. I submitted a photo and guess who won? http://www.surlybrewing.com/index.php …that’s my dog!! She is so awesome!
