WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

All Aboard! Night Train Leaving on Track #9!

Posted about 1 year ago
Amos Lee is a contemporary, urban troubador whose style has a wide appeal. This cut from the Supply and Demand CD is a personal favorite. Just thought I'd post some newer music so y'all didn't think I lived alone with 5,000 old LPs and a cat named Henry.

  1. Cody B says Henry ain't a bad name. Everybody has 5,000 old albums...don't they?:) For a little perspective on MOG theme days ► "check out this post by my all-time fave Mogger":http://mog.com/CrashPryor/blog_post/66204◄ Crash passed away last year and it was a great loss to all of us. He had a way of hittin' the nail on the head.

  2. runobodyii says Cody B, man, you guys are / were intense! So much sound and fury from an outsider's point of view, but it's nice to get a glimpse into MOG history. MB, (do they ever call you Mads?), I had a poetry gig at Ursinus College, outside Philly, and some of the kids there turned me on to Amos Lee; I remember this song in particular playing in the car with a gang of students that were taking me to dinner.

  3. Spike says That's a beautiful recording. A woman with 5000 LPs? Madeline, you're a rare marvel.
