Will someone tell Lauryn Hill that starting a show two hours late is soooo late Ninties. In this modern day and age where people are spending $100+/month on Blackberry bills and up to $350 a concert ticket, who's gonna care if a $40 Lauryn Hill ticket goes to waste?
Most fans who tried to see her at the Birmingham Academy last night bit the ticket price and left when the Grammy-scoring diva showed up 2 hours late and WASTED to the show.
Fans described Hill as "cracked out," a "mad old bag lady," "a clown" and "fallen hero." The show was described just as harshly: "the worst" and "disgraceful."
The night before Hill took to the stage at London's Hammerstein Apollo, where fans went nuts over her. Hill did however act spastic during the performance resembling...er...ahhh...fallen diva Whitney Houston.
Someone get this lady to Zion, and fast!
