After failing the Harding Test - a test that makes sure TV images don't trigger epileptic seizures (let us not forget the Pokemon seizure incident of 1997)- the Gnarls Barkley's "Run" video has been re-edited for play in the UK. The original video's strobe effects were changed.
"It seemed justifiable to hesitate a bit to make sure it didn't result in something severe," Cee-Lo, one-half of the group, told Billboard.com. "We just focused on any compromise we could come to. We didn't get too agitated -- we just concentrated our focus on how we could resolve the problem."
The band's sophomore album The Odd Couple comes out April 8th and will be followed by a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live on April 12th.
