MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Artist:
Album: Useless Trinckets: B Sides, Soundtracks, Rarities and Unreleased 1996

The Eels are getting their Amen and Mavel Tov on. The band will be stopping at some unusual venues, like the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia and the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in Washington, DC, when they tour the US this March and April.

The tour is in support of the band's two new CD+DVD collections. The decade-spanning "best of" compilation Meet The Eels: Essential Eels 1996-2006 Vol. 1 includes a DVD worth of music videos and live footage. The rarities album, Useless Trinckets: B Sides, Soundtracks, Rarities and Unreleased 1996 is 50-tracks accompanied by the Eels' Lollapalooza 2006 performances.

The tour kicks off on March 28th in Philly at that church mentioned earlier. Perhaps fans will get to hear "Novocaine for the Soul" backed up by the church choir.
