Justin Timberlake and Beyonce lead the list of MTV Video Awards nominees with seven nominations each in the award show's 11 categories. Kanye West was nominated 5 times, as was Rihanna, while Gym Class Heroes showed up in 2 categories, Best New Artist and Best Group. Amy Winehouse was nominated three times for Best New Artist, Best Female Artist and Best Video Of The Year.

The MTV Music Video awards make their move to Las Vegas this year and will air live on September 9th.
