Chrissie Hynde To Open Vegetarian Restaurant

Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde will sing at the opening of her vegetarian restaurant, VegeTerranean, in her hometown of Akron, Ohio. Hynde, accompanied by an acoustic guitarist, will give a free mini-concert on September 15th at the grand launch of VegeTerranean. The restaurant will serve a meat-free vegetarian/Mediterranean cuisine, thus the clever name. The Pretenders, "I'll Stand By You"This summer the Pretenders will tour the US with ZZ Top beginning July 14th in Texas.
