Live Earth Rio Is Back On

What seemed like a really bad week for Al Gore - his 24-year-old kid got booked for driving with marijuana, Zanax and other prescription pills - is now turning out to be an ok week. Live Earth Rio is back on.A judge revoked her own order to cancel the free July 7th concert slated for the Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janiero. 700,000 people are expected to attend and officials were worried that the needed task force to control the crowd would not be available. It is the only Live Earth concert that is free and open to the public. "The show is on again. The prosecutor's office asked the judge to reconsider and she revoked the suspension," a spokeswoman for the Rio Justice Tribunal also confirmed. Performers for the Brazilian leg of the climate crisis benefit include Lenny Kravitz, Macy Gray and Pharrell Williams.
