Paul McCartney’s back catalog to Go DigitalFinally! Paul McCartney is leaving the Stone Age and releasing his entire catalog of classics online. Macca’s label, EMI, confirmed that all his solo work, including his run with Wings will be available online at your local Mp3 dealer and as ringtones. The announcement follows McCartney’s interview last week, where he announced a digital back catalog deal was “virtually settled.” It’s about time considering you can find tunes like, Maybe I’m Amazed online at YouTube:This brings the world one step closer to downloading Beatles’ albums, like Abbey Road and Revolver, off the Net. Finally!The announcement that McCartney will release his solo recordings online comes on the brinks of his new and first solo album for the Starbuck Hear Music label. Memory Almost Full drops June 5th.
