All-American Rejects Frontman Designing Shirts He Is Never Seen Wearing

The irony of All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter designing a t-shirt line is this: he hardly ever wears them. Ritter afterall is known for his dreamy blue eyes AND uploading naked pictures of himself up on the internet. But on May 16th Ritter will debut his side-project The Gnomans in New York City. Ritter calls the band “the world’s first clothing-line-fueled pop band,” since it will correlate with the t-shirt line, T Bourne Ritkins, Ritter launched with Gnoman bandmate/artist Brian Robinson. The May16th public concert at New York City’s posh nightspot Marquee will feature the Gnomans playing a soundtrack to a fashion show showing-off ten new t-shirt designs on the catwalk. However Ritter admits its a bit of a gimmick. “If I wanted to make money,” he told New York Magazine, “I definitely would be approaching it differently.” Ritter also added, “the whole thing’s gonna be like the best sex ever—two and a half minutes and then you can go have a sandwich.” Luckily for everyone in the world Ritter is still continuing on with the All-American Rejects.
