Album:Minutes To Midnight [Edited] [5/15]
As Linkin Park get ready to sell another gagillion records (thier third studio Minutes to Midnight album is out May 15th) the Grammy Award winning rap-rock band are planning just as massive a tour. For the fourth Projekt Revolution Tour (think Ozz-fest but with Linkin Park headlining) the band will hit the road with a mini emo circus that includes My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo and Julien-K on the Main Stage. Appearing on the second stage (Revolution Stage) will be Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, The Bled, Styles of Beyond and Madina Lake. Tickets go on sale via livenation.com on May 19th with the few unannounced dates being revealed shortly on radio shows. Linkin Park, Chester Bennington (vocals), Rob Bourdon (drums), Brad Delson (guitar), Joe Hahn (DJ), Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (bass), and Mike Shinoda (vocals), has sold 40 million records worldwide. Their 2000 debut Hybrid Theory is diamond-certified after selling more than 18 million copies alone. So far Minutes to Midnight’s first single “What I’ve Done” is the Number One track at Alternative and Active Rock radio and the song has sold more than 275,000 downloads. The socially conscious video for the first single, admidst the hype, is not living up to our expectations. The people that brought you the HOVA mash-up are now going all Bono on us. See for yourself.Projekt Revolution tour dates: 7/25: TBA, To be announced May 227/27: Marysville, CA, Sleep Train Amphitheatre7/28: San Bernardino, CA, Hyundai Pavilion7/29: Mountain View, CA, Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View7/31: TBA, To be announced May 218/01: Phoenix, AZ, Cricket Pavilion8/03: Selma, TX, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater8/04: Dallas, TX, Smirnoff Music Centre8/05: Woodlands, TX, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion8/07: Atlanta, GA, HiFi Buys Amphitheatre8/08: Charlotte, NC, Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Charlotte8/10: West Palm Beach, FL, Sound Advice Amphitheatre8/11: Tampa, FL, Ford Amphitheatre8/13: Raleigh, NC, Walnut Creek Amphitheatre8/14: Virginia Beach, VA, Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater8/15: Wantagh, NY, Nikon at Jones Beach Theater8/17: Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Blossom Music Center8/18: Darien Center, NY, Darien Lake Performing Arts Center8/19: Bristow, VA, Nissan Pavilion8/21: Toronto, ON, Molson Amphitheatre8/22: Clarkston, MI, DTE Energy Music Theatre8/24: Mansfield, MA, Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts8/25: Camden, NJ, Tweeter Center at the Waterfront8/26: Hartford, CT, New England Dodge Music Center8/28: Syracuse, NY, NY State Fair8/29: Holmdel, NJ, PNC Bank Arts Center8/31: Noblesville, IN, Verizon Wireless Music Center9/01: Tinley Park, IL, First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre9/03: Englewood, CO, Coors Amphitheatre
