Posted about 1 year ago
San Francisco...I am starting to get jealous. The line-up for this summer's inaugural Outside Lands Festival is shaping up to be one of the hottest. Joining headliners Radiohead, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Jack Johnson will be Beck, Wilco (whose tune "Walken" is currently spinning on my iTunes) and Widespread Panic. The three-day festival will take place at San Francisco's historic Golden Gate Park August 22nd to 24th, 2008.Rodrigo y Gabriela, Cold War Kids, Manu Chao, Café Tacvba, Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, Steel Pulse, Nellie McKay will also join a bill of local acts that includes Primus, Two Gallants, The Coup, The Mother Hips, Goapele, ALO, Matt Nathanson and Sean Hayes.Tickets will go on sale Sunday, March 30, 2008, at 10am PST through www.SFOutsidelands.com.
