Tapes 'N Tapes Walking It Off On New Album

Minneapolis' Tapes 'N Tapes will release their new album, "Walk It Off" on April 8th. The band recorded the follow-up to 2005's breakout The Loon in upstate New York at producer Dave Fridmann's Tarbox Road Studios.
The new set offers twelve new original songs, including one even titled "George Micheal." "I thought the riff kind of sounded like the beginning of "Faith," frontman Josh Grier told Pitchfork in a recent interview. "And then it kind of progressed and moved away from that. But it was kind of like a joke, I had nothing to call it, so I was like "oh, I'll just call it 'George Michael'."
