Josh Groban Beats Mary J. Blige On Albums Chart

Dayum! Josh Groban's holiday album Noel continued its winning streak with another week (now its fifth) at Number One. Groban's Noel sold a whopping 757,000 copies last week, pushing the new one from R&B diva Mary J. Blige, Growing Pains to a Number Two debut.Mary J. Blige, "Just Fine" off Growing PainsThanks to a strong hold on the singles chart with the track "No One," Alicia Keys' As I Am sold 474,000 copies landing at Number Three. right behind her is the Eagles' Long Road Out of Eden, which sold 313,000 copies in the days before Christmas to land at Number Four. Still holding strong on the chart is Miley Cyrus' Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus for Disney. Cyrus jumped two spots from last week and sits at Number Five. MIley Cyrus, "Start All Over" off Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley CyrusThe Now 26 compilation follows at Number Six after selling 235,000 copies. Country blondes duked it out for the Number Seven and Eight spots this week.American Idol Carrie Underwood landed at Number Seven with Carnival Ride, after it sold 216,000copies, while newcomer Taylor Swift sold 187,000 copies to land at Number Eight.Rounding out the chart at Number Nine was Disney's High School Musical 2 (185,000 copies sold) and Chris Brown's Exclusive (176,000 copies).
