Operatic tenor Josh Groban has Christmas caroled his way to the Number One spot of the Billboard Top 200...for the his forth straight week. This, according to Billboard.com is a new chart record, making Groban's Noel the first Christmas album to spend four weeks at the top. The album has sold more than a total of 2.77 million copies, earning it the title of the best-selling album of 2007. Talk about a last minute sweep.
Clocking in at Number Two is Alicia Keys' As I Am, which sold 292,000 records its seventh week out. The Eagles' Long Road Out of Eden also hold at last weeks spot, Number Three after selling another 241,000 albums. Now 26, the compilation featuring the music of Kanye West, Fergie, Nickelback and more, is Number Four after sales of 191,000 copies.Disney's <>High School Musical 2 and Miley Cyrus' Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus sit tight at Number Six and Seven, after selling 178,000 and 177,000 copies respectively. Two country blonds follow on the chart - Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. Swift's self-titled climbs one spot to Number Eight after selling 139,000 copies.
