Stephen Stills Battling Prostate Cancer

Only days after reporting the loss of singer/songwriter Dan Fogelberg to advanced prostate cancer, news follows that fellow singer/songwriter Stephen Stills, best know for his work in Crosby, Stills and Nash, and Buffalo Springfield, is also battling the life-threatening disease. 
Stephen StillsStills, who detected the cancer in its early stages will undergo a surgery on January 3rd, also his 63rd birthday, to help terminate the disease.The news of Stills sickness was leaked by Graham Nash via a telephone interview on CNN's Larry King Live show this past Monday. Nash told King, "Unlike Danny (Fogelberg), who left it too long to be seriously checked, Stephen found his at an early stage." Nash was also adamant that an early diagnosis potentially saved Stills life.
