Daniel Lanois will release his sixth solo album Here Is What Is as a digital download exclusively at redfloorrecords.com on December 15th. The physical copy of the album will be released March 18th.The album features drummer Brian Blade and the Band's pianist Garth Hudson. The album is the companion to the film by the same name that follows Lanois in the art of making a record.“The film is a camera following me around over the course of a year," Lanois explained, "in and out of recording studios documenting once and for all the way it really happens.” The flick, which premiered at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival, was directed by Adam Vollick, Adam Samuels, and Lanois.Here Is What Is track list:1.
