Alternative country rocker Jimmy Dale Gilmore will be heading to the East coast for four concerts. On the mini-run he will play tracks from his 2006 Grammy-nominated album Come on Back. The album is a shout out to Gilmore's late father, Brian Gilmore, who died in 2000 of Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
"They are simple, well-crafted, unpretentious little gems from a wonderfully creative period in American commercial music," Gilmore says of the songs on Come on Back. "My father passed his love of these songs on to me, and although I went on to embrace many other styles and influences I never lost my deep feeling for the music that I associate with him.”Jimmy Dale Gilmore tour dates:December 13: Stanhope House, Stanhope, NJDecember 14: Bearsville Theatre, Woodstock, NYDecember 15: Club Helsinki, Great Barrington, MADecember 16: Joe’s Pub, New York, NY
