Elton John has gotten himself accidentally involved in some child-porn/art controversy. A photo that shows two girls dancing where one of them is naked, part of an art collection is causing quite a stir.The BALTIC Center for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, northeastern England, where the photo was being exhibited called police after they became concerned that people might be offended by the photo. The photo was taken by American photographer Nan Goldin and is owned by Elton John, who purchased it in 1999 as part of a collection. But, British prosecutors said Friday the photo is not an indecent image. Enough evidence to justify charges of possession or distribution of an indecent photograph were not found, according to the Crown Prosecution Service.The photo, "Klara and Edda Belly Dancing," was part of the BALTIC center's "Thanksgiving" exhibition. The 149 pictures by Goldin were included in the exhibition. It was closed to the public at John's request. Before this the disturbing picture had been exhibited numerous times at major art shows without any controversy.
