the aftermath of ciwwaf

the show was absolutely amazing. had way too much fun with burgy. went over to maryville in the early afternoon. got starbucks and met the starbucks kids. they're my new best friends. got taco bell, which that taco bell failed at life, they had no forks... then we drove around, went on a miss burgy memory lane trip. pretty cool. went to a park. mushed america. went to ciwwaf and got there an hour early, but the line was already past the building. hung out for a while. we missed the first band which saddend me, but it's cool. in line i found more new best friends. except i didnt talk to them haha. played war. took random pictures. there were these girls at the show that paid no attention to the bands at all. they took pictures for their myspace. it angered me. i really felt like taking their camera and throwing it at their faces. and there was this couple that were all over each other. and this boy who wiggled funny. i got a hoodie. best 35 bucks i ever spent. :-)

  1. dj ivi says i get really angry with people who are not giving the music and musicians respect, especially when surrounded by people who want to enjoy it. collectively, we really should figure out a proper response to dumb people like that. getting violent would lead to more trouble than its worth, and make it even harder to enjoy the show. but if only there were something scathing that could be said, that would make them run away with their tails between their legs and never be disrespectful at a show again... i haven't thought of one yet, though i have tried a few out...
