After a four-month break, Glee made its return to television last night. The Fox network reports that 13.7 million people tuned in for the season two premiere, making it the biggest view for the series thus far. This outdoes their prior season average by 88% in terms of total viewers.

No doubt they will continue to draw a large audience, as this season already promises an all-Madonna episode, and later in the season the whole cast will don classic Lady Gaga duds for what's sure to be must-see tv. [via ABC]
