It's been just over three years since LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver ensnared tastemakers and club kids alike. Since then, principle member James Murphy has been slowly teasing us with details about his follow-up record: he's recently taken to lengthy MySpace and frustrated tweets from the studio, viral videos, and repeated references to a March release date.

After announcing via Twitter earlier this week that his painstaking labor had finally come to a close, people have been salivating for more information about record would truly come out. Earlier today, we had the chance to exclusively ask about the album's status and release date. When asked if it the band's record would still be released in March, Murphy gave us a new answer. "May," Murphy says, "I finished [the record] yesterday."

So, there you have it folks: after much conjecture, you can mark your calendars for a May release date. As for a title? "I don't have it yet." Ah well. Let the teasing continue...
